2010: Vinnie Murray Cup reached the Junior Cup inal for the third ime. Blackrock College were our opponents once
Winners again. Gonzaga performed with great pride and courage but were defeated by surely one of the
most accomplished teams ever to represent Blackrock at this level.
The 2007 JCT reached the league inal. Mark McGroarty’s team were narrowly defeated by
Newbridge.

semi inal and were defeated by St Michaels in a very close and hard fought encounter.

McCloskey reached our second league inal. St Andrews were our opponents on this occasions
and again ater a close batle we were to taste defeat.
The 2002 SCT had the disincion of having three schoolboy internaionals in Ross McCarron,
Simon Morrissey and Kevin McLaughlin. Captained by Ross they came from behind to beat a
strong CBC Monkstown team in a memorable Senior cup match in Lakelands Park. They were
