churning engine Monkstown Dairy
Conductor's rounds And now the Farm
Rattle of change Push bell and go
White and purple Move down the bus
slip of paper Mick heeds and stops
Driver turning My journey's done

Round the corner to Dun Laoghaire
Into Nassau. And the depot
And Kildare Street Another day gone
Along the Green Stretch weary limbs
Down Leeson Street Evening paper
